Meets Sundays at 10:00 am in room 103.
Preparing for Sunday
Our Tuesday night session is now known as “Preparing for Sunday,” and will continue to During our time together, we will partake in Divine Reading, or “Lectio Divina”; the ancient practice of reading the scriptures in a way that allows us to let go of our own agenda and open ourselves to that which God wants to say to us. Using this prayer practice is a phenomenal way to prepare us to hear the upcoming Sunday’s scripture reading. We plan to meet a few times before taking a 6-week hiatus for “Is Your God Too Small? Growing Into God with Rev. Bob Mitchell”, an exciting 6-week series on Tuesday evenings in the Parlor, beginning October 11th, and recurring every Tuesday through November 15th. “Preparing for Sunday” will resume after the conclusion of this special series. Be on the lookout for more information and listen for announcements! I encourage you to attend!
