Our volunteers are the heart of the 9:30 Service experience. We love them…and you will too!
“How can I volunteer? What can I do?”
Greeter/Usher Does the ability to smile, shake hands or offer a welcoming hug come easily to you? You could be our newest greeter/usher.
Hospitality Host/Hostess Can you brew coffee, or do you have a secret desire to be Martha Stewart? Guess what…you could be our next hospitality host or hostess!
Scripture Readers You don’t have to be Anderson Cooper or Meryl Streep to read scripture. You DO need to have a love of the Word and a desire to be a vessel that delivers the Word during the service.
Sound Requires a basic knowledge of sound equipment and its operation or the desire to LEARN about sound equipment and its operation. On-the-job training is readily available.
Media Requires a basic knowledge of computers, PowerPoint software and the ability to use a mouse. On-the-job training is readily available.
Seasonal Opportunities Include envisioning, preparing and decorating the Kendall Hall worship space for the Advent/Christmas and Easter seasons, holidays, and other special events. These gatherings offer fun and fellowship validating the old adage: “Many hands make light work.”
