Wesley Community Center is a Valley of the Sun United Way Primary Partner and a National Mission Institution of the United Methodist Church. Established in 1950, they are a 501(c)(3) non-profit, community service organization dedicated to empowering and assisting families in the south-central Phoenix community of Nuestro Barrio (our neighborhood).  This predominately Hispanic community is home to approximately 7,000 individuals,70% living in sub-standard housing.  Neighborhood challenges include: extreme poverty, social problems, high crime rates, and a 42% school dropout rate.
They make positive changes in the lives of their clients, patients and their children through our programs and services.
