Sunday Sunday School Opportunities
The Christian Ambassadors is a Sunday School class for developmentally challenged adults. The lesson plans are designed to be appropriate for a variety of skill levels, i.e. readers and nonreaders. The classes are located in a room that is easily accessible and are staffed by experienced and loving teachers.
Most class participants live at the Lura Turner Homes, a nonprofit organization. The founder, Lura Turner, was a long time member of Central Church. We have had the honor of this special relationship for many years. To visit their web site click on www.luraturnerhomes.org
The Christian Ambassadors class is an excellent place for developmentally challenged adults to learn more about God, learn how to serve God's people and develop new friends.
The Wednesday Wonders are a group who meet each Wednesday from 8:30 - 11:00. They gather to do general maintenance and help around the church facility. They begin around 8:30 and finish around 11:00 over coffee and doughnuts. Please join us!
Come join us as we pray together for our church and community on Wednesdays at 11:30 in the Library.
Our Journaling group meets on the first Wednesday of each month in the evenings at 6:30 in the Parlor. You are welcome to join in a guided journaling experience.
Grief Support Group
